The Poolstore stock a large range of robotic and suction pool cleaners. We also have both robotic and suction cleaners on display at our retail store.
Finding the right cleaner can be a tough task but here are a few things to consider:
If your pool has a number of trees surrounding it and leaves have become a constant battle then a robotic cleaner is the best thing for you. Robotic cleaners use their own build in filtering system bypassing the pool filtering system. With a number of different options on the market along with price you should also consider the warranty of the robot and the availability of spare parts. All the Robotic cleaners sold at The Poolstore come with full warranties and we wont be beaten on price.
Suction cleaners are fantastic cleaners which rely on the filtering system of your pool. They plug into your vacuum plate and filter all the leaves and debris from your pool into your skimmer basket. If your pool has good suction there are a number of different options on the market to consider. Contact or visit us for expert advice on the best product for your pool.
Please Consider: Like any consumer product, please consider the warranty and availability of parts before purchasing a suction cleaner. There are many cleaners on the market today that cannot be fixed once bought and once placed into the pool do not work. Please do your research and stick to well known brands.
You should regularly check the skimmer baskets in your pool as these are there to prevent the larger debris clogging up the pump. When the skimmer basket becomes to full the water flow to the pump is greatly reduced causing it to either stop or burn out. A robotic pool cleaner has its own filtering system meaning it does not rely on your pools filter or suction. This can heavily reduce the pressure on your filter system and your pump, however you would still need to check both the skimmer basket and the filter system of your robot on a regular basis.
